Coming from Los Angeles and knowing NYC deli's as well, we are looking forward to trying Lasky's on Saturday, November 29th before heading for the Met Opera. Afterall a good grepsh in the opera is often appreciated after eating pastrami and dill pickles.

We'll let you know how we like it.

hey, I've been to Lansky's and I really do love it. The chicken kreplach soup, the chopped liver, and the grilled pastrami & cheese is amazing. But I also love the fact that you can get entrees too in addition to their deli staples. And the chicken pot pie and meatloaf is great.
The service is the only problem I have there. Thankfully I know what I want. the staff is ill informed and the screaming non jewish manager was completely unprofessional. The food saves this place, the staff will be it's ruin. I hope Henry and David will figure that out. The chulumn won't save an uncomfortable visit.
