Yummo indeed. Here’s a nice little bit from the good folks at Rachael Ray, asking my advice on ordering from the deli. Thanks to Leah for this. She insists she’d never use the word “sammy”, but the Ray Ray folks do love it. Who can fault them?

I can name some place in SF (one of the most expensive cities in the world) with LEGIT pastrami sandwiches for 7$.
Ted’s on Howard and 10th
AK subs (it’s on rye!) at harrison and 9th.
Quincy’s on Market Street. It is very hard to find a legit pastrami for less than 10$, but if you really look hard i bet you can find it. I did. Check out my blog, I blogged about quincy’s on there. Ted’s and AK will be a SoMa pastrami throwdown coming up in the future.
