I've never tried Artie's, but I remember being annoyed that their menu (which I perused from the sidewalk) confused lox and nova. Maybe Mr. Feldman will fix that. I’m certainly in favor of more delis.

They said they did'nt open until 9:00AM That was a bummer. We eat early. Their flanken barley soup is outstanding - enough for two adults. Their pastrami sandiwches are excellent as well. Their waiters are not as rude as could be expected, but they are accommodating.
